Wonder if Ford and Citroen will sill be around, because their chances against factory teams, are pretty slim, and every dollar spent, for them will be a dollar lost.

It sounds like M-Sport (Ford) will be back next season, with returning support from Nassar/Qatar. Citroen will (almost certainly) be there, the question is if they'll remain factory or become a privateer like M-Sport. Either way the whole thing is now VW's show. They outspent the other teams 2-to-1 this year, they have the best driver (much as I hate to admit it), and VAG doesn't accept anything less than total domination. It's probably their show until they get bored and move on.

Maybe this new Hyundai team will deliver a surprise, they certainly got ambition, and they represent Hyundai-Kia(the nation of Korea) on highest level of motorsport, as Kia has no racing plans for the near future.

Maybe in a few years, but certainly not right out of the box. As much as everyone keeps saying this was VW's first year they've been dominating the S2000 class since 2008. They had years of Skoda experience to work from, Hyundai is a blank slate.

They kill the show, with their perfect job. Unless you talk about Mercedes. They're not that good in build dominating cars or cars that work perfectly.
